  • Absolutely! And if not, you’ll at least stand up on the beach during the warm-up…which technically counts.
    But seriously, our coaches (including pro surfer and all-round legend Zane Silvester) are experts at getting first-timers riding waves safely and confidently.

  • Believe it or not, ooordination can be improved. We’ve seen every level, from “accidentally punches the air while popping up” to “gravity is my enemy.” Our team are experts at helping every ability level shine.

  • Swimwear, sunscreen, waterbottle and towel. We’ll supply soft surfboards, wetshirts and good vibes.

    Leave any jewelry and valuables at home (the beach has banks but isn’t a safe)

  • Sure thing. Our advanced video-coaching will break down every tiny detail of your technique, from rail engagement to why you still can’t land that air reverse.
    Head coach Zane understands modern competitive surfing while head cameraman Brook has filmed at an elite world tour level for decades, so you’re in expert hands.

  • We sure do. We’re an all-abilities surf school, with beach wheelchairs, adaptive prone boards, tailored communication approaches and 1:1 support.

  • If the weather looks sketchier than a penguin wearing sunglasses, we’ll be sure to reach out to reschedule. Safety always comes first.
    But if it’s just a bit of regular rain or wind: congrats, you’re about to look like an everyday surfer!

  • Yes! Friends, parents and carers are welcome to cheer, clap, film, and yell “YEEWWW!” from the beach.
    Unless pre-organised or an official carer, your cheer squad should only join you the water if booked into a lesson though (even if they think they’re Kelly Slater).

  • 100%. (Even if you fall. Especially if you fall.)
